Alessandro Gallagher

This Scottish defensive midfielder dominates the pitch with sublime defensive IQ and lightning-fast acceleration, even if his stamina limits his effectiveness in the dying minutes. Before every match, he loudly chews on a raw clove of garlic to ward off bad luck, regularly leaving teammates horrified by his potent breath in the tunnel. His presence on the pitch is as reassuring as his pre-match ritual is insufferable.
