Ivana Devcic

This Croatian midfielder dances past opponents with blinding acceleration and ball control that seems to defy the laws of physics, even if her technical flair is sometimes a bit raw. Before every match, she insists on balancing a raw egg yolk on her forehead in total silence, a bizarre ritual that makes her teammates nervously giggle in the locker room. Yet, her quiet intensity on the pitch makes her a nightmare for every defense.
