Karola Nolte

A reserved German powerhouse, she patrols the midfield as a relentless interceptor with an aerial leap that dominates the game, though her tendency to misjudge lateral jockeying can occasionally leave her vulnerable. To stay focused, she insists on braiding a single lock of her teammate’s hair before every kickoff, a ritual that leaves the locker room equal parts bewildered and amused. She is an engine of pure stamina and physical intimidation who rarely needs to say a word to command the pitch.
