Sirojiddin Kodirov

This Uzbek centre-back combines exceptional agility with a sometimes erratic reading of the game that can even surprise his own teammates. Of disarming humility, he still remembers the day as a child when he accidentally neutralized a street game by intercepting the ball with such momentum that he ended up boarding a local bus still clutching it. On the pitch, he excels through precise tackling and devastating speed that make him nearly insurmountable in duels.
