Eugenia Avendaño

Towering over attackers, this Mexican defender combines explosive acceleration with a ferocious aerial presence to erase mistakes before they happen. After being told as a child she was too quiet to ever captain a team, she harnessed that solitude into an ice-cold, impenetrable wall of focus. While her occasional lack of discipline can catch her out, her recovery speed makes her a terrifying nightmare for any striker.
