Mirta Figueira

This Uruguayan wall defies physics with cat-like reflexes and an unstoppable command of her area, though her adventurous rushing sometimes leaves teammates holding their breath. Before kickoff, she insists on braiding three strands of fresh grass into her gloves, a quirk that has her amused squad playfully nodding along to her pre-match ritual. Her friendly nature off the pitch vanishes the second the whistle blows, replaced by a relentless determination that turns every opponent's shot into a futile exercise.
