Mariam Niabaly

This Senegalese midfielder shreds defenses with lightning speed and a velvet first touch, even if her finishing can occasionally be inconsistent. Before every match, she tucks a single snail shell into her left boot, a quirky superstition that leaves her teammates watching her with a mix of bewilderment and silent awe. She remains a reserved presence on the pitch, letting her refined technique speak for itself.
